Penta worked closely with the WHEDCo staff to produce an event  to honor their contributors and raise money for the Bronx-based community economic development organization. Yankee’s announcer, Michael Kay, emceed the evening which included a sports memorabilia auction, awards ceremony, dinner and entertainment by La Fuerza Positiva.

The Contingency Planning Exchange is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide there members with innovative strategies, tools, and networking opportunities to advance the practice of business continuity and crisis management.  In addition to planning monthly conferences for this client, Penta is also an integral part of their special event needs.  When the organization was preparing for their 20th anniversary, Penta was contracted to plan a gala celebration.  Penta handled all aspects of the event from conception to design to on-site management.  Penta was responsible for securing the venue, selecting the band, marketing the event and selling tickets, creating a seating chart, securing and coordination with the keynote speaker (Commissioner Ray Kelly), working with the honorees of the event, and more.  The gala is an event that the CPE Board and its members still rave about.

Penta was contracted to be the event planner for the 6th Annual Gala for Gotham Magazine.  This event took place at Capitale in New York City and was hosted by Rudy and Judith Giuliani.  Guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, dining and dancing before watching a live performance by the Sugar Hill Gang.  Penta was responsible for the design and production of the event and handled a wide variety of tasks included linens, table centerpieces and florals.

Full service event management for the 2005 holiday party. The project included design and production of décor including drapery, furniture, florals, and lighting; menu selection, catering services, and liquor procurement; staffing including butlers and bartenders; set-up and break-down of event; on-site management; and budget management.

Penta worked closely with Saks Fifth Avenue to celebrate the launch of the Versace Men’s 2006 Spring Collection.  This was an in-store event and thinking outside the box, a specialty of Penta, was crucial for its success.  Penta was involved with the set up of the event which included hors d’oeuvres, a bar sponsored by Belvedere Vodka and a DJ.  To help enhance the theme of the event, Penta added accents to the wait staff’s attire to complement the colors of the Versace Men’s Spring Collection.
